UWO Formula Racing is The University of Western Ontario’s Formula SAE team. Made up of approximately 60 students who volunteer their time and talents each year to conceive, design, and build a formula style race car. Up against more than 120 other universities, the car is not only judged on speed, but on design and viability as a mass-produced consumer autocross racer. Western’s car finished in fifth place at the 2010 competition in California. While the university provides some assistance, the students depend on the generosity of corporate sponsors and members of the community for the majority of the project’s funding. Through this practical application of their studies, students utilize leadership, teamwork, marketing, organization and financial skills to succeed in this venture. The UWO Formula Racing team is committed to the advancement of education and the enhancement of the student experience at the University of Western Ontario. ==2011 Car== Performance * Acceleration: 0 to 100 km/h in 3.4 seconds * Cornering: 1.8 Gs * Weight: 444 lb * Power: 81 Horsepower Engine * 600cc Honda F4i * Full-Throttle Electro-Pneumatic Shifting * Traction and Launch Control * Closed-Loop Lambda Fuel Map Tuning * Custom Carbon Fibre Intake * Sigma Slipper Clutch * Custom 4-2-1 Welded Exhaust Brakes * Floating rotor * ISR Calipers Suspension * Double unequal length a-arm * Pull-rod actuated * Adjustable Blade Anti-Roll * Anti-dive and Anti-squad Geomentry Chassis * Chromoly Steel-tube Space Frame * Carbon Fibre Body Driver Interface * Steering Wheel Mounted Push Button Shifting * Carbon Fibre Pedals Electrical * Data acquisition system * Configurable display * GPS Mapping and Track Overlay 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「UWO Formula Racing」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
